Don’t Say That I’m Gone

Hi there.

I wanted to clear something up, because in the clouds, I hear a lot more than I ever did on earth. And one thing that is hitting me the wrong way is when people say that I’m dead or gone

I want to tell you all the truth

I am not dead

I am more alive than I have ever been or could ever be on earth

I am not gone

I am everywhere and in everything

I am more with you now than I have ever been

I am every sunrise and every sunset

I am every blooming flower and every buzzing bee

I am every smile and every tear

I am every star that shines for you each night

I am every snowflake that melts on your face

I am every blade of grass blowing softly in the wind and every single hand that reaches out to grasp yours

I am all the arms that have hugged you tight and all the beautiful words that have been said in my memory

Every rainbow;  that’s me

Every bolt of lightning;  that’s me too

I am all around you and I am in you

I am so very alive in you and in everyone who loved me

True, I am not where I was and I am not where you want me to be, but I am not gone either

So when you speak of me, please, do not tell them I am gone because it simply isn’t true

I will always be with you.
